Algonquin Suite
The 1920’s were defined by a renewed interest in literature and the arts. The Algonquin Round Table was a celebrated group of New York City writers, critics, actors and wits who gathered for lunch each day at the Algonquin Boutique Hotel from 1919 until roughly 1929. The 1920s were the beginning of many exceptionally talented authors from F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) to Agatha Christie (Murder on the Orient Express) to A. A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh) to, the one is the inspiration for this suite, Ernest Hemingway (The Sun Also Rises).
